1. In the European Burmese cats we know of two serious heretic diseases of GM2 Gangliosidoses and Hypokalaemia.

2.The American Burmese comes in two different types. In some lines - of the type "Contemporary" or the "New Look" - the cranial defect will show. The Traditional - a bit more old fashioned -Burmese, is known to be without any know carriers of the cranial defect.
